We appreciate your consideration in joining us in our Mission to care for our sick Vietnam Brothers and Sisters and the families of the deceased all affected by Agent Orange cancers and sicknesses. (Please read through our website and see our Mission statement and the wealth of other information we offer).

Directors page on this website. We do insist you have a deep desire to help Veterans and their families that is our main criteria. We are all very serious about our dedication to this Mission and expect the same from you. Regardless of how much time you can offer.

Unfortunately we are all Volunteers so we can offer no pay. The only funds we ask you to donate is if you make a Silver Rose Presentation that you place the Award Certificate and the Poster that will come in the award package in picture frames. These frames can be found at dollar stores etc. They do not have to be fancy but we do insist that you have all Awards that you present personally framed.

Any award that is mailed to the recipient or their family does not need to be framed.

You have to have a computer, and once you become a Director you will be placed on our select mailing list and will Receive daily updates on Veterans news and affairs, This mailing list is not a chat line. We do not pass jokes or chatter on it. It is for Veterans business affairs and Silver Rose information only.

First of all if you send a Silver Rose award application in and want it returned to you directly, Always put your name boldly in the upper right hand corner of the applications along with your address etc.

The normal turn around time for a Silver Rose award is 3 to 4 weeks. If you have a emergency or a Veteran in critical condition and need a award before this person passes on , Please contact our National Director and he will try and work with you. We cannot afford to send overnight Silver Rose Awards, Our budget is very tight, The S/R Award is always offered Gratis of course.

We do accept and appreciate donations but that decision and amount is up to the recipient, This is not about money, We are here to help Veterans. We need donations to survive but first we must care for these victims and their families with the presentation of the Silver Rose and the Honors and Recognition it will bring to a Hero affected by AO.

We also have a Honorary Silver rose that can be presented to a AO Victims or to a person who has done a exceptional job helping Veterans, This Award includes a S/R Medal. Finally we offer a beautiful Award Certificate if you want to see a group or individual Honored..( Talk to our National Director about these Awards.

We do have one solid rule that can never be broken. A Silver Rose Medal can never be sold , for any price, It must be earned. .. Period!!!

We do appreciate you asking for donations from groups or individuals, We also offer some very unique merchandise on our website that a person can make a donation for and receive. It can be purchased online or from you. Our lifeblood is donations and every person who sends in a donation or makes one on our website is always recognized via U.S. Mail with a Thank You card.

We are a 501c3 Non Profit Tax Exempt group so any donations made to us made be completely written off of a person taxes as a legitimate donation at tax time.

Once you are accepted as a Silver Rose Director you will receive at no cost a starter kit which will include. S/R Brochures, Posters for hanging in VA Hospitals with tear offs and any other place Vets may hang out. A Silver Rose Directors Patch and some pins and patches which are sent to you at no cost so that you can offer them for donations.

You are always only a phone call away from our National Director and I encourage you to go to our Directors website on here and call any Directors and talk to them. We have I feel one of the finest groups of talent in America gathered helping on this Mission.

To Present a Silver Rose Award is quite simple, it will also probably be one of the more rewarding things you will have done in your life.

Some people you will meet want the award sent directly to them and that’s it. This is fine, It’s the recipients call on how they receive their award always.

Others like you to bring the award to them if you live within a reasonable distance of them. We do not expect you to drive long distances to make these presentations, so you can say no if a award needs to be presented and it’s to far away or you are busy. We can only do what we can do.  Personal presentations when made are usually incredible. If you think when you go to make this award there will only be a Man and his wife present, you are probably going to be wrong, Prepare yourself to meet the entire family, grandchildren etc, and even the neighbors. The coffee, cookies, cake and milk will come out and everyone is their anticipating your presence, If you have the opportunity contact your local newspaper, or TV Station, Many times especially in smaller communities they will show up to make this even a more special event.

Finally some will want the Award presented by the local Veterans Post and Honor Guard, This can be incredible also.

I would suggest you contact myself or one of our Directors for a little insight on what to expect and how to handle one of these. They are sure wonderful.

If you have the opportunity to put up a display for the S/R please contact me ASAP. I need lead time but we do have banners and other merchandise and display pieces I can ship you to make a very impressive presentation.

Always tell the people who offer a space that you will need space for at least 2 tables and you will need to be able to offer pins and patches and have a donation jar to help cover or mailing costs and the cost of the display. If they say that you can do none of the above please call me.
